Shivraj, 14-year-old 10th standard student from Pune, struggled financially but works hard and is a good student; COVID impacted his family financially further. The boy was forced out of school due to his mother’s inability to raise school fees; we accepted to foot his school fees and influenced him to attend our study sessions.

First, Shivraj was an antagonist and an easily distracted character which is typical for adolescents. We became worried and tried to observe him more and also had counselling sessions in a bid to differentiate him between love and lust. Thus, after he was provided with counseling sessions, Shivraj started sharing his feelings and was learning how to experience and regulate changes. It is pointed out that this positive attitude towards the boy helped to overcome negative tendencies and improve his behavior as well as achievements. Shivraj and his family are still so thankful for the support they got.

Umesh is 14 years old, he came to the institution as a single parent, his financial situation was desperate, as his father passed away, his mother had to take care of all the burdens of the house alone. In this, Umesh was not only interested in education but at the same time he was interested in learning karate. But he could not afford to hold classes outside because of the poor conditions at home. But we helped him develop that skill. To fulfill his desire to learn karate, the organization offered him a karate class. Later he has participated in many competitions. He has won a competition held in Delhi.

A 14-year-old boy named Prajwal was enrolled in the 7th grade but had to drop out owing to family troubles. Prajwal stopped attending school even though he wanted to, but instead of putting any effort into his studies, his parents spent their time arguing, blaming one another, and fighting. Prajwal experienced emotional effects from that and felt lonely at home. Prajwal told us his complete story when taking part in the community survey, asking that we help him enroll in study programmes because he enjoys doing so. In the month of November, Prajwal did enroll. We have noticed that Prajwal performs in the classroom. In order for Prajwal to return to school, we decided to pay for the cost of his education. Prajwal’s parents were unaware of how bright the sun is and how much care and protection he requires. We made an effort to speak with his parents to help them understand their child’s needs, but they continued to place blame on one an other. However, his mother assured us that she would look for Prajwal. His school enabled him to take the exam after paying for his 7th standard, we paid his school fees and he did his best to pass in 7 standards. Prajwal is currently in the eighth standard and is back attending classes.

Tanishka, a 13-year-oldgirl in Eight grade, is bright and does well in school, but she has had Camel humps on her back since birth, which restricts her from connecting with other kids because she is constantly being bullied. As a result, Tanishka lost her confidence and began spending more time at home and developing into are served young lady. Because of her health issues, she had to live alone, and on the other side of that, she had lost her father, so all of her mother’s obligations fell on her. Tanishka’s mother tried to get daughter medical attention, but she lacked the funds for it. Tanishka became known during a community survey, and when we understood about her difficulties, we decided to enroll her in the class and begin offering counseling support so she would be able to accept her situation and cope with it. Having Camel humps on her back has never been a problem, but she is too young to deal with it. Tanishka started giving her all in class, just as she did at school, and she quickly climbed to the top of her class and her school. So, we made the decision to help Tanishka get the medical care she needed. We took her to the hospital, where the doctor gave her a belt to wear to get rid ofher camel hump, and it’s working great! Tanishka is now feeling more self-assured and confident. She pledged to do her absolute best in her studies and make us all proud. Now that she was able to deal with the bullies, she stopped crying. Her mother also expressed her thanks when she noticed the improvement in her daughter’s health.
